Memories in Flames

About Memories in Flames

Fiona Fu, the heiress of the Fu family, has always been blinded by love—ignoring the devoted Liam Lin, who has loved her for years, and instead falling for the manipulative Felix Fu, the younger brother of the family butler, Yvonne Fu. Felix treats Fiona as nothing more than an ATM. During a company dinner, an accident leaves Fiona with temporary amnesia, remembering only her best friend, Monica Cheng. Seeing this as a chance, Monica tries to convince Fiona to let go of Felix and accept that her true love has always been Liam. With no memories to rely on, Fiona trusts only Monica. Just as she hesitates, Liam rushes to the hospital, showering her with genuine care. Monica keeps Fiona’s amnesia a secret from Liam, knowing he would never take advantage of her condition—he believes in letting love unfold naturally. When Fiona learns that today was supposed to be the day Liam proposed, she asks him to take her back to the hotel. Meanwhile, Felix, chased by the manager to pay the bill, spots Fiona and sees her as his usual escape route. He tries his old tactic—feigning anger to guilt-trip her—but this time, Fiona doesn’t remember him. Seeing Felix, Liam assumes Fiona is just using him again to make Felix jealous, and his heart sinks. Felix and his accomplice, Zoey Zheng, lash out at Fiona, trying to humiliate her. Though Fiona once loved Felix blindly, her amnesia clears her judgment. Remembering Monica’s warnings, she ignores Felix and takes Liam’s hand, heading to the proposal venue. Stunned, Felix follows, convinced she’s just throwing a tantrum and will soon crawl back to him. Under everyone’s gaze, Fiona publicly proposes to Liam. Even then, Liam doubts her sincerity, wondering if she’s just rebelling against Felix. Arrogant as ever, Felix sneers, certain Fiona will soon beg for forgiveness, and viciously taunts Liam as a "pathetic backup." Yet Liam refuses to retaliate—he loves Fiona too much to hurt someone she once cared for. Just as Liam is about to walk away, Felix and his friends escalate their insults. Finally, Fiona snaps—she swings a bat at Felix, shocking everyone. As Fiona spends time with Liam, her memories gradually return. She makes a stunning discovery: the man who saved her three years ago was none other than Liam—the same man she had rejected for years. In the end, love triumphs. Liam and Fiona, along with their friends Ryan Zhou and Monica Cheng, celebrate a double wedding, leaving past heartaches behind.
