Reborn as a Cat: I Help My Human Solve Major‑Scale Crimes

About Reborn as a Cat: I Help My Human Solve Major‑Scale Crimes

Chen Fan, a genius criminal‑investigation officer, was shot and killed while chasing a mysterious suspect during the “717” anti‑drug operation. When he regained consciousness, he had been reborn as a tabby cat named Little Raccoon, returning to the side of his former partner Li Shiya. Even more bizarrely, Little Raccoon is bound to a crime‑fighting system. He possesses heightened sense of smell, physical strength and hazard perception far beyond ordinary felines. He can also understand animal languages. By cracking major cases, he unlocks new abilities and may eventually regain his human form. To uncover the truth behind the “717” case and become Chen Fan again, Little Raccoon returns to the frontline of crime‑solving as a cat, forming a special team with Li Shiya and police captain Guo Wei. His first major assignment is Jiangcheng’s serial child‑abduction case. Faced with missing surveillance footage and lost suspect trails, he leverages his feline physique to gather intelligence inaccessible to human police from animals such as the rat One‑Ear and sparrows. Working alongside law‑enforcement officers, they successfully rescue the abducted children. More cases follow: pharmacy break‑ins, poison‑planting incidents at the city zoo and beyond. At the zoo, numerous animals suddenly go berserk. Little Raccoon discovers this is not random animal madness, but the tragic outcome of long‑term abuse, illegal experiments and an animal‑blood trading ring. Confronting ferocious beasts including gray wolves and tigers, Little Raccoon stops them from hurting humans and promises to seek justice on their behalf. His extraordinary power earns him respect from Tiger Brother, Gray Wolf and other creatures. Gradually, he evolves from a regular police‑station cat into the “Cat God” revered by local animals.
