Mountain God’s Blessing: The Peasant Girl’s Rise Season 1

About Mountain God’s Blessing: The Peasant Girl’s Rise Season 1

Lin Shu, a fake rich daughter from the modern world, transmigrates to ancient times after a car accident. She becomes a widow in Taohua Village whose husband passed away right after their wedding. The original host had not even consummated the marriage when her husband died of illness. She was exploited by her brother-in-law Zhang Yong and sister-in-law Zhang Cuilan. She took care of her mother-in-law for three years, yet during the family separation, she only got a shabby thatched hut and a barren mountain, with no money or support at all. With nothing to her name, Lin Shu went up the mountain to dig wild vegetables to make a living. She accidentally slipped and fell into a cave. Blood from her forehead dripped into a spiritual spring, awakening the remnant soul of the Mountain God, who took the form of a pale blue spiritual carp. She thus inherited the Mountain God’s power, gaining magical abilities to accelerate plant growth, sense medicinal herbs, and even control plants and animals in the mountains. Using her power, she revived withered wild ginseng and sold it to Ji’an Hall, where she met Shang Chenze, the gentle and kind pharmacy shopkeeper. This earned her her first pot of gold after transmigration. With the Mountain God’s power, Lin Shu cultivated ginseng and medicinal plants. She mixed the spiritual spring water into the jade face powder gifted by Shang Chenze, gradually fading the facial scars left when the original host was pushed off a cliff by Xu Xiaolian, restoring her beautiful looks. Xu Xiaolian, once the original host’s friend, stole her marriage arrangement out of envy. Seeing Lin Shu’s life getting better, she burned with jealousy and repeatedly plotted to make things difficult for her.
