Lost Forever

About Lost Forever

Lin Siqing gave up her career at the design institute to marry Fu Zhiheng and devoted herself entirely to their family. One rainy night, while carrying her pregnancy report to share the happy news, she saw Jiang Wanwan—who was also pregnant—sitting in the passenger seat of Fu Zhiheng’s car. Jiang Wanwan schemed to have Fu Zhiheng splash water on Lin Siqing, causing her to fall and suffer a miscarriage, which was later linked to the mothballs Jiang Wanwan had placed. Fu Zhiheng repeatedly sided with Jiang Wanwan, misunderstanding and hurting Lin Siqing multiple times. Jiang Wanwan even joined Fu’s company as the design director and stole the anniversary design draft that Lin Siqing had prepared for Fu Zhiheng. Heartbroken, Lin Siqing contacted the design institute, signed a confidentiality agreement, and prepared to leave. She left behind divorce papers and her miscarriage report. At first, Fu Zhiheng paid no attention, but after being reminded by Xie Xiaoai to check the surveillance footage and discovering the hidden miscarriage report, he realized the extent of Jiang Wanwan’s malicious actions. However, it was too late—Lin Siqing had already resolved to start a new life. After becoming the design director at Fu’s company, Jiang Wanwan targeted Xie Xiaoai, a supporter of Lin Siqing, and forced her to resign. Before leaving, Xie Xiaoai exposed to Fu Zhiheng how Lin Siqing had been framed by Jiang Wanwan and revealed that the design draft he had previously given to Jiang Wanwan was actually a gift prepared by Lin Siqing for their wedding anniversary. After reviewing the surveillance footage, Fu Zhiheng confirmed Jiang Wanwan’s lies and began to doubt her. By then, Lin Siqing had already started working at the design institute, reunited with her university senior Xie Jinghan, and begun a new life. She refused Fu Zhiheng’s apologies and attempts to reconcile. Fu Zhiheng discovered the divorce papers left by Lin Siqing and learned that she had been pregnant and lost the child. He returned home to confront Jiang Wanwan and eventually found Lin Siqing’s hidden miscarriage report in her room. Combining this with his investigation, he uncovered Jiang Wanwan’s schemes—including framing Lin Siqing for a miscarriage she orchestrated herself and causing Lin Siqing’s miscarriage with mothballs. He had Jiang Wanwan sent to prison. Fu Zhiheng sought out Lin Siqing to apologize and ask for reconciliation, but she refused, informing him that she would marry Xie Jinghan, who had admired her for years. Fu Zhiheng silently watched over Lin Siqing and even took a knife for her at a celebration banquet, but he still failed to earn her forgiveness. A year later, Fu Zhiheng, mentally distraught, broke down upon hearing the news of Lin Siqing’s wedding. Although Lin Siqing invited him to the ceremony, he could only witness her happiness from afar before leaving in solitude, finally paying the price for his mistakes.
