On her 24th birthday, Mia was forcibly taken to celebrate Stella’s party. When she expressed displeasure at Stella’s bragging, Victor shoved her to the ground, and Ethan threatened to call off their engagement. After everyone left, heartbroken Mia contacted her best friend Ayao. At a club, she coincidentally met Justin, the heir of the Jiang family. Drunk, she offered him one million to marry her—and to her surprise, he agreed without hesitation. Mia woke up in a hotel, finding a marriage certificate and a note from Justin. After adding him on WeChat, she informed him she was moving out. Meanwhile, in Ethan’s house, Stella deliberately smashed Mia’s ceramic jar and played the victim in front of Ethan and Victor, who blindly blamed Mia. Discovering her belongings discarded, her artwork torn apart, and her vice president position given to Stella, Mia was utterly disillusioned. She scattered the shredded drawings out the window in despair. Furious, Victor and Ethan physically attacked her. Stella then grabbed Mia’s injured hand, pretending to be pushed, and the two men rushed to comfort her. When Mia received a call from Justin, Victor forcibly dragged her to the hospital to donate blood for Stella. There, Stella intentionally gave Mia shrimp-laced soup, triggering her allergy—yet Victor and Ethan still sided with Stella. Devastated, Mia returned to the Mu family home to pack her things. Stella framed her again, and Victor disowned her, declaring she was no longer his sister. In the pouring rain at midnight, Mia limped away with her suitcase—until Justin arrived in his car.
