About Divorce to Frontline:A Woman Reborn
"Paisley Jenkins, a war correspondent, gave up her career to become a housewife after getting married and having a child. Ten years later, her husband, Lucas, gifts Paisley’s late mother’s camera to his ""little sister,"" Sophia. Paisley discovers Lucas and Sophia’s ambiguous relationship, and their daughter, Anna, idolizes Sophia. Heartbroken, Paisley applies to return to the warzone. Her news director warns her, ""War correspondents must stay until the conflict ends""—implying she might not come back alive. Paisley files for divorce, but Lucas dismisses it. When Anna calls Sophia ""Mom"" during a livestream, Paisley is devastated. Sophia, who claims to be traveling the world, is actually living off a wealthy man. She steals Paisley’s treasured war photos and posts them online as her own work. Paisley exposes Sophia publicly, but Anna and Lucas accuse her of lying. Later, while covering a street assault, Paisley’s live broadcast reveals her true identity as a war journalist—shocking Anna, who never understood her mother’s past. Sophia mocks Paisley, calling her a ""wannabe internet celebrity."" Paisley discovers Sophia has signed a lucrative photography deal using her stolen photos and reports her to the police. When authorities arrest Sophia for stealing classified war images, Lucas and Anna are stunned. Paisley demands a divorce, but Lucas tears up the papers. That night, her director orders her to deploy to a warzone immediately. At the airport, Paisley cuts ties with her family—Lucas kneels, begging her to stay, but she leaves. While Paisley is gone, Anna falls ill with a high fever, and Lucas realizes how much Paisley did for them. Meanwhile, Sophia—now desperate for money—takes Anna to a KTV bar to entertain clients. When a drunk man nearly assaults Anna, Lucas rescues her and finally cuts Sophia off for good. In the end, Lucas quits his hospital job and follows Paisley to the warzone, becoming a battlefield doctor. He begs for forgiveness, but Paisley, now fully committed to her mission, chooses to let go of the past—reporting on the war with unwavering resolve. "
