About The Three‑Yuan Noodle Stall: Kindness Is Never Alone
To save his wife Su Wan, who suffers from uremia, Lin Shen runs an affordable late‑night noodle stall selling bowls for three yuan, catering to blue‑collar workers such as sanitation workers and food delivery riders. However, Zhao Fugui, the person in charge of the food street, repeatedly harasses and makes things difficult for him. Diners nearby and Grandma Zhang, a sanitation worker, step forward to help. Everyone pools money for the surgery, and Su Wan pulls through successfully. Mr. Fu from Daobi Group, which Zhao Fugui works for, bears a grudge. He cuts off ingredient supplies, bribes franchisees to use inferior flour, arranges internet influencers to spread slanderous rumors, and freezes Lin Shen’s business accounts. Suffering from multiple rounds of suppression, Lin Shen obtains evidence of their misdeeds with help from loyal delivery riders, veteran workshop craftsmen and an undercover employee. Public opinion reverses, and Daobi Group collapses completely. Lin Shen takes the lead in setting up a merchant mutual‑aid alliance. Chen Batian from Dingdongji, a large catering brand, enters the market. He dumps pre‑made noodles at rock‑bottom prices and buys storefronts at high prices to force Lin Shen out of business. Lin Shen switches to a mobile food truck and livestreams his kitchen. The head chef of Dingdongji exposes the dark secrets behind their industrial soup packets. Chen Batian further monopolizes agricultural produce and blocks cold‑chain logistics in an attempt to cut off Lin Shen’s supply sources. Large groups of farmers and delivery riders voluntarily take turns making deliveries. His sweet‑potato noodles supporting rural farmers become a huge hit. Plagued by constant complaints over spoiled ingredients, Dingdongji suffers a total defeat.
