About Shining Days
The drama tells the story of the Bo family, one of the wealthiest clans, where the preference for male heirs is deeply rooted. Ren Min, who just married into the Bo family, in order to consolidate her position, swapped her newborn daughter for a son. Ren Min and the boy she adopted successfully inherited the Bo family's wealth. The girl was supposed to be adopted by Wei Suying, but Wei Suying only took the money and abandoned the baby girl. The girl was later adopted by a scrap collector who raised her with great hardship into adulthood. Twenty years later, the Bo family's heir, Bo Yunxiao, has grown up and by a twist of fate had a one-night stand with the girl, who is now known as Gu Zhixia. Bo Yunxiao, moved by Gu Zhixia's filial piety, marries her. However, it was unexpected that Wei Suying would impersonate her own daughter as the Bo family's lost daughter and hand her over to Ren Min. Ren Min, in an effort to ensure that who she thought was her biological daughter would marry into the Bo family, subjected Gu Zhixia to all sorts of humiliation and oppression, all in an attempt to force her to divorce Bo Yunxiao. She even considered taking Gu Zhixia's life to support her own daughter. When the truth is revealed, will Gu Zhixia forgive the biological mother who repeatedly tried to put her in a deadly situation?
