Dragon's Wrath

About Dragon's Wrath

"Chen Ping, the young master of the wealthy Chen family in the imperial capital, hides his identity and works as a salesperson at the Lin Group. He spends his days slacking off and playing games, consistently ranking at the bottom in performance without a care. Lin Yuqing, the CEO of the Lin Group, is pressured by her father to marry. In desperation, she takes a liking to the strikingly handsome Chen Ping and offers to exempt him from performance requirements in exchange for posing as her boyfriend at her father’s 60th birthday banquet. At the banquet, Chen Ping’s casual attire stands out awkwardly, drawing ridicule from Lin’s elders and brothers-in-law. He presents an invaluable ancient pottery jar from the Shang Dynasty, only to be mocked as a “dung digger” by Lin Yuqing’s eldest sister, her husband, second sister, and her husband. However, when Wu Tiansheng arrives and reveals the jar’s true worth, the crowd is stunned, and Chen Ping helps Lin Yuqing turn the situation around. He then effortlessly secures ten invitations to the exclusive Dragon King’s Banquet with a single phone call, revealing his extraordinary capabilities. Though those present remain skeptical and continue to belittle him, he leaves Lin Yuqing questioning his true identity. At the invitation of Ma Tianrui, one of Lin Yuqing’s suitors, Chen Ping outperforms him with a hole-in-one on the golf course. He impresses everyone by fluently ordering in French at a high-end restaurant and accurately diagnosing Ma Tianrui’s hidden ailment—excessive indulgence. He even contributes a long-lost ancient recipe, helping the Lin Group launch a blockbuster beauty product, gradually shattering his “good-for-nothing” image. At an art exhibition, he exposes a fake tycoon, and at a product launch, he fiercely confronts a journalist from an island nation, showcasing his commanding presence. When the Lin Group’s formula is stolen, Chen Ping reveals his formidable martial arts skills as the “Dragon King,” rooting out internal traitors and thwarting a conspiracy by island nation samurai. Finally, at the Dragon King’s Banquet, he unveils his true identity—the heir of the imperial Chen family and the King of the Western Dark World, the Dragon King. After numerous trials, Chen Ping confesses his feelings to Lin Yuqing. What began as a temporary boyfriend arrangement evolves into a genuine bond, and the two become engaged in the presence of their loved ones. "
