At the Wedding, the Heiress Publicly Disowns Her Fiancé

About At the Wedding, the Heiress Publicly Disowns Her Fiancé

Lin Yu and Song Jingcong, seven years into their relationship, stand on the verge of a grand wedding. During pre-wedding photos, Su Yao appears in a near-identical wedding gown, deliberately clinging to Song and shoving Lin Yu out of the spotlight. At a KTV gathering, Su Yao and Song's inner circle exchange loaded remarks, leaving Lin Yu isolated and sidelined. Su Yao escalates by posting staged intimate moments with Song on social media to provoke Lin Yu. Though furious, Lin Yu is placated by Song's apologies. On the wedding day, Song forces the uninvited Su Yao into the venue. Su Yao dismisses the bridesmaid dresses Lin prepared. In the dressing room, Su Yao slashes her own arm and frames Lin Yu for hiding needles in the dress. Song believes her without hesitation. Humiliating Lin Yu in front of all, Song splashes wine on her wedding gown, forces Su Yao into the spare wedding dress to walk down the aisle with him, and demands Lin Yu's public apology to Su Yao. Lin Yu emerges instead in an elegant cheongsam, coldly watching the pair perform their farce. As Song publicly opens what he expects to be Lin's apology letter, he finds a shocking decree of repudiation instead. Lin Yu boldly stakes a claim, reveals proof of Su Yao's self-inflicted wound, and condemns Song's betrayal and lack of trust. With Song's own parents backing her, Lin Yu presents the decree and publicly disowns her fiancé. Forced to sign, Song is stripped of everything and cast out. Destitute and exiled from his family, Song watches his supposed ""brothers"" Ah Hao and Xiao Bin abandon him. Finally seeing their true colors, he is consumed by regret. Meanwhile, Lin Yu blossoms in both career and romance.
