Your Majesty, Your Crown Prince Is Here

About Your Majesty, Your Crown Prince Is Here

Set in the ancient Great Qi Dynasty, this tale follows the destined six-year romance and mutual devotion between Wan Qiqi, a female healer, and Emperor Xiao Jingyu. Six years ago, Wan Qiqi was gathering medicinal herbs in the mountains when she stumbled upon Xiao Jingyu, who had been ambushed and poisoned. By fate, they shared one intimate night, then lost all contact afterward. Unbeknownst to Xiao Jingyu, Wan Qiqi became pregnant. In an era with rigid feudal ethics where an unwed mother would face universal condemnation, she drew strength from her innate fortitude and compassion as a healer. Bearing scorn and gossip from the villagers, she single-handedly raised her son Wan Xiaobao. For five years, she stayed true to her mission of healing the needy, supporting herself and her child solely through practicing medicine. Five years into his reign, imperial physicians had long declared Xiao Jingyu incapable of fathering heirs. As the sole descendant of eighteen generations of the imperial Xiao bloodline, he and the Empress Dowager lived in constant anxiety over the continuation of the royal lineage. During a visit to the Xiangguo Temple, Xiao Jingyu crossed paths with five-year-old Wan Xiaobao. The boy bore an uncanny resemblance to him, along with the exclusive birthmark unique to direct Xiao royal descendants. Shocked, he realized this was his biological son. He immediately issued an imperial edict naming Wan Xiaobao Crown Prince, ordering his men to spare no effort in tracking down the boy's birth mother.
