About The Stolen College Dream
After his parents passed away in an accident, teenage Su Chen was taken in by his uncle Lin Youwei and aunt Wang Cuihua. But instead of being cared for, he was treated like free labor and suffered constant abuse. Over three years, the Lin family seized the two million yuan in child support and the downtown apartment left by Su Chen’s parents, squandering the wealth recklessly while forcing Su Chen to eat leftovers and wear worn-out clothes. When Su Chen received his admission letter to a top university, Wang Cuihua tore it up in public and ordered him to work at a shady factory on the outskirts of the city to earn bride price for their son Lin Hao. With nowhere to turn, Su Chen sought out Zhang Qian, the lawyer entrusted by his late parents. After learning the truth about his stolen inheritance, he carefully devised a plan to get justice. Pretending to give in, he lied that his parents had hidden an extra ten million yuan that could only be withdrawn once the property title was transferred back to him. Blinded by greed, Wang Cuihua voluntarily returned the house deed. The moment he held the certificate, Su Chen exposed the trick and demanded the Lin family return the 1.7 million yuan in child support they had embezzled.
