About The Fake Consort's Fall
Three years ago, Vera saved the severely injured Prince Josh. Grateful for her life-saving act, Josh married her and brought her into the royal palace. Envious, Zoe, the eldest daughter of another family, plotted against Vera as she was about to become the admired Crown Princess. On the eve of the wedding, Zoe killed Vera's mother and disfigured Vera. Using her resemblance to Vera, she took her place and married into the palace. Three years later, when the Crown Prince ascended the throne, Zoe became the Emperor's favorite concubine. She exploited Vera's past act of saving the Emperor to act arrogantly, causing widespread resentment. Meanwhile, Vera changed her appearance and entered the palace to seek revenge for her mother's death, engaging in a fierce rivalry with Zoe for Josh's affection. Ultimately, Vera exposed Zoe's true identity and claimed the title of Empress.
