About The Daughter They Tried to Kill
At 7, Seraphina Ashford heard her father whisper "Kill the mother, keep the child" as her mother lay dying. For 10 years, she survived her stepmother's brutal gaslighting, public ruin and deadly assassination attempts. Faking her death in a cliff plunge, she rises as Evelina Vale—allied with a disgraced prince, she infiltrates the royal court, where her sworn enemies now reign, to burn their lies to ash and seize back what was stolen.
