Five years ago, a destitute Waylon was taken in by Rita, which led him to willingly relinquish his claim to his billion-dollar inheritance. For five years, he secretly aided the Quinn family in their rise to the elite. However, on the day of the wedding, she abandoned him for her foster brother, Xander. In a desperate attempt to chase after her car, he met with an accident and fought for his life while she turned off her phone, leaving him unreachable. After surviving, he fulfilled his grandfather's longstanding promise and, just seven days later, was set to marry Rosie, the heiress of a conglomerate.
