About He Chose His Mistress, I Chose the Don
Liam slammed his hand on the table at our engagement dinner. “I have already claimed another woman.” I once shattered the bones in my hand saving him and trusted the blood oath he swore to me. In return, he stole my work, used me to hide his affair, and abandoned me in enemy territory. So I broke our oath. “My affections have already been pledged to another.” Now Liam is begging at my gates—because the man I chose is the one Don he cannot challenge. At tonight’s family dinner, either his mistress or his dynasty will fall.
