About Exiled to the Border, I Recruit One Soldier Every Second
A modern‑day history major college student is mysteriously transported to another era and becomes Xiao Chen, the neglected Ninth Prince of the Great Yan Dynasty. As a concubine‑born son, he gains no favor from the emperor. The Crown Prince Xiao Jing and the Sixth Prince Xiao Yi constantly scheme against him. To eliminate this potential threat, the emperor sends Xiao Chen to a brutal battlefield under the pretense of military training, hoping the Northern Rong barbarians will kill him. On the brink of death from severe battlefield wounds, Xiao Chen awakens the Divine‑Tier Troop Recruitment System. The system automatically spawns one soldier every second. It can also synthesize elite troops such as the Weiwu Warriors. By earning battle merits, he can draw lottery rewards to summon famous civil officials and fierce generals from past dynasties. After the war, the emperor pretends to bestow rewards. He grants Yunhuang City, a lawless fiefdom ravaged by barbarians, to Xiao Chen, essentially sending him to his doom. The Crown Prince colludes with local tyrants in Yunhuang and sends assassins to murder Xiao Chen on his journey. Upon arriving, Xiao Chen summons five hundred Weiwu Warriors to crush over a thousand barbarian bandits. He seizes secret letters proving the Crown Prince’s plot and sees clearly the royal family’s intention to exterminate him. His great victory unlocks the Supreme Lottery. Xiao Chen draws Wu Qi, Xu Shu and Xiao He, forming a complete team for military governance and civil administration.
