About After They Threw Me to the Horde, Their Regret Drove Them Insane
In the fourth year of the zombie outbreak, I am the only shield of the last safe zone. My Pacification Field repels all infected miles away, and Commander Cole guards me like fragile treasure. But ex-Marine Mason Rourke arrives, resenting my special care. Amid a brutal horde attack, he drags me out, slams me into the mud beyond the wall. My field collapses, the infected lock onto me, and the safe zone’s last hope crumbles in an instant.
