Look for the decision around the pregnancy

Pregnancy can change a relationship, intensify family pressure, or make practical support and independence more urgent. Read which choice drives the premise and whose perspective the story follows. It may overlap with a secret-baby or marriage-crisis story, but the tag alone does not establish a concealed child or an eventual reunion.

How is this different from a secret-baby story?

Pregnancy concerns a character expecting a child. Secret Baby concerns information about a child's existence or parentage being withheld. A pregnancy premise can focus on an openly acknowledged situation, a disputed relationship, or a decision about family support without involving a later identity revelation.
