About 真夏のベンデラ
自由な魂を持つカメラマンの白清枚(はくせいまい)は、亨泰(きょうたい)グループの若き総帥、周晟安(しゅうせいあん)との政略結婚を強いられる。結婚に反発する清枚は「約束三箇条」を突きつけ、彼を退屈な男だと見なしていた。しかし、晟安は彼女のハイヒールを持ってやったり、生理痛の彼女のために黒糖生姜湯を準備したりと、その細やかな優しさで少しずつ彼女の心を溶かしていく。やがて二人の間に恋心が芽生えるが、清枚は自身の複雑な家庭環境がもたらしたトラウマと、「オープンマリッジ」という関係性への恐怖から、晟安の優しさを「愛がないからこその寛容さ」だと誤解し、一方的に婚約を破棄してしまう。その後、プレイボーイの張九刓(ちょうきゅうがん)に言い寄られる清枚を晟安が救い出し、さらには彼女を追って華都(かと)まで赴き、再び愛を告白する。幾多の困難を乗り越え、ついに清枚は過去のトラウマから解放され、晟安の深い愛を受け入れる。真夏のベンデラは、二人のために美しく咲き誇るのだった。
