About They Didn't Trust Me, Until I Saved Them
After being driven out for urging a pre-typhoon harvest, oyster buyer Shen Chaosheng watches 2,000 cages of oysters destroyed. When a profiteer offers only pennies per pound, desperate fishermen beg her to buy. She repays betrayal with grace, creates strict grading and traceability rules, and turns Oyster Bay into a trusted brand—proving that oysters depend on the sea, but sales depend on trust.
