About Mom, I Wasn’t Lying
“Mom, it hurts.” Red light. “Mom, I’m hungry.” Red light. “Mom, please believe me.” Red light. For ten years, every plea Stella makes is treated as a lie. Then her mother opens the locked bedroom door and finds the daughter she refused to believe. But Stella’s death is only the beginning. A diary, a broken device, and a twin sister’s always-green band will expose the truth—and destroy what remains of the family.
