THE STORY

About Jinshi: Auspicious Days and Sunny Days

When Lin Wanning began experiencing frequent morning sickness, Grandma arranged for Lu Shiyan's stepmother in name only, Xu Ruolan, to care for her. Lu, still harboring resentment over his father's remarriage to his late mother's sister just a year after his mother's passing, remained cold and distant toward Xu. Despite this, Xu Ruolan used her mastery of traditional cooking techniques and professional expertise to help Lin navigate workplace challenges and secure the Jinlan project. Meanwhile, tensions simmered within the Lu family. Lu's father, through his actions, openly embarrassed Xu Ruolan during family gatherings, particularly in his efforts to support the widow of his late friend. This culminated in a disastrous banquet where the widow's son pushed Lin Wanning, causing her to stumble despite being pregnant. To make matters worse, Lu's ex-girlfriend, Song Ling, orchestrated a misunderstanding involving lipstick stains on Lu's clothes, implying infidelity. However, the couple resolved the issue through honest communication. Eventually, Xu Ruolan reached her breaking point and announced her decision to divorce. With Lin Wanning's encouragement, she rediscovered her self-worth and regained confidence in herself. In a heartfelt moment, Lu Shiyan overcame his resentment and addressed her as “Mother” for the first time. Lin later gave birth to a daughter, Lu Zhixia, while Zhou Min was dismissed from the household. The family resolved their conflicts and embraced a joyful new chapter, united in harmony.
