Yuna loved her father’s friend, Julian, for ten years, but three years ago, Julian was drugged and forced to sleep with her, making him believe she had planned it all. After they married, Julian remained cold no matter how hard Yuna tried to please him. A month into their marriage, he took Mia and Bella abroad for three years, ignoring Yuna and their biological daughter, Sophie. Even after returning, Julian openly favored Mia and Bella. At a kindergarten family day, he stood by as Bella called Sophie a “bastard” and refused to acknowledge her as his daughter. When Bella pushed Sophie into a pool and nearly drowned her, Julian saved Bella first and used his influence to secure the city’s medical resources for her. Sophie only survived because Yuna’s father pulled strings to get her treated. Heartbroken, Yuna cut ties with her old life and took Sophie overseas. She built a successful career, her father stayed by her side, and Sophie grew up happy. Julian eventually regretted everything and chased after them, begging on his knees for forgiveness. But Yuna and Sophie refused to take him back. After that, Julian’s company went bankrupt, and he ended up either in a car accident or in prison—the ending was unclear.
