About Chosen by My Olympian Gods
Natalie Hopkins, a mortal girl who can commune with flowers and plants, watched her mother Hannah’s spine broken by an abusive father while protecting her—leaving Hannah paralyzed for ten years. To earn the grace that could make her mother walk again, Natalie enters Olympus alone to compete as nanny for Austin, son of the storm goddess Sophia. Despite Apollo’s constant obstacles, Natalie conquers three trials—the ring of fire lake, carrying water across the fire path, and the ferocious dog ranch—by facing fear head-on and overcoming hardness with softness. She revives the dying Austin with a single silver needle, winning the gods’ approval. She then awakens Sophia from post-partum madness and helps her regain divine power. In public, Natalie strikes back at Sophia’s faithless husband Bryce and his lover Lucy. Zeus grants her a new mission: redeem Karen, a demigod who has given up on himself. Natalie takes him to the human world’s cemetery and reveals that his mother never abandoned him. Karen makes peace with himself, and his black divine power turns to golden light. Apollo transforms from an exile into a guardian, quietly caring for Hannah for months. After life-and-death trials, Natalie wins the gods’ grace, and her mother miraculously stands again. In the end, she chooses Apollo over Karen, and the two confess their true feelings.
