スケンシュウは、娘のソンカが喘息の特効薬を必要としているため、強姦容疑で逮捕された海ノ城の大富豪の息子、リンウの弁護をせざるを得なくなった。ところが、娘と幼馴染のホウコウが焼肉屋でリンウの一味に侮辱され、ソンカが個室に引きずり込まれて虐待を受ける。スケンシュウが娘の惨状を目にし、怒りを抑えきれずに弁護士証を提示し、自らの身分を明かした上で、リン家との決別を宣言する。裁判では世論がリン家寄りになり、リンウが堂々と入廷するが、重要な瞬間にスケンシュウは原告弁護士として出廷する。
