" 沈家の養子、沈星翰はかつて惜しみなく愛されていたが、実子の沈皓天が帰還すると、その生活は奈落に落ちた。皓天の意図的な陥害により、家族からも嫌われるようになる。ちょうど沈家の長女が進める「タイムカプセル」企画で志願者が不足していたため、彼は自ら志願し、失明した次女の視力回復のために角膜提供まで計画した。恩返しをするだけでなく、養子として迎えられた当時の選択をやり直すつもりでもあった。 しかし帰宅した三日間、彼は皓天の執拗な妨害に遭い、家族から傷つけられ、飼っていたウサギは殺され、18歳の誕生日も忘れられた。心が折れた彼は一人で誕生日を祝った後、実験室へ向かう。やがて家族は真相を知り、深く悔恨し、実験室の前で30年間待ち続けたのだった。"
