About The Price of 99 Cents
A young man, Julian Quinn, returns home after three years in a brutal “therapy” camp—sent away by his parents over a trivial mistake. Traumatized and hollow, he plans a public suicide to expose the truth. On New Year’s Eve, just as hope briefly flickers through an old friend’s kindness, he learns the devastating reason behind his abandonment. He jumps. His death uncovers systemic abuse, shattering his family and igniting a nationwide investigation. In the end, justice comes too late, leaving behind grief, guilt, and a haunting question: how far can love fail before it becomes destruction?
