About The Demon's Prey
Lily, a physician from a fallen noble family, is forced to marry Dominic, the fearsome "Bloodthirsty Duke" of the North, as a substitute bride. On their wedding night, he gives her the "Heart-Devouring Elixir"—a deadly wager: if she falls in love within thirty days, she dies. Yet Dominic never relinquishes his physical possessiveness over her. Deep in the ancient castle, amid mutual wariness and testing, a tug-of-war between desire and emotional restraint unfolds.
