About Seven Days Thirty Again
Arthur Bennett, a 72-year-old retired repairman, is bullied and knocked unconscious at a rainy bus stop. He wakes inside his 30-year-old body—with only seven days to finish what he left undone. He retaliates against the bullies, then returns to his son’s home posing as “an old colleague of his father.” There he discovers the family is being scammed into selling his old house to a corrupt elderly-care real-estate company. His granddaughter Ellie sees through his identity and becomes his secret ally. Over seven days, Arthur chases his old dream of jazz, reunites with Rose—the love he missed sixty years ago—and finally hears his son Daniel’s lifelong resentment: his father’s absence when Daniel was bullied, and his silence when Daniel’s mother died. When his identity is exposed, Arthur faces a choice: keep his young body forever and let his elderly body die, erasing every bond—or embrace his whole life. Guided by a recording from his late wife Margaret, he gives up eternal youth. On the final day, he and his daughter-in-law expose the scam, help the elders reclaim their homes, and he apologizes to his son. The countdown ends. Arthur wakes in his 72-year-old body—not with a miracle, but with his family’s respect, control over his life, and the courage to sing on stage.
