20年前、地震によって松田汐里と藤井幸祐は離れ離れになり、互いに相手が亡くなったと思い込んでいた。幸祐は娘の藤井雅子を育てながら生活し、一方、松田汐里は独りで生きていた。20年後、汐里は偶然に雅子と出会い、彼女の車の修理代を立て替えた。会話の中で汐里が独身であることを知った雅子は父の幸祐を紹介する。幸祐は身元を隠し、配達員を装って汐里に近づき、彼女が金目当てでないことを確信すると、密かに経済的な支援を始めた。やがて同居するようになった二人、ある日、汐里は雅子の幼少期の写真を失くしてしまい、雅子がそれを見つけたことで真相に気づき、調査を開始。ついに三人は相手が20年前の家族だと知り、共に幸せな生活を送ることとなった。
